The broad aims of the Primate
Welfare Meeting are:
- To support the development and implementation of
refinements in primate care and use
- To provide evidence that can be used to promote
improvements in primate welfare and direct welfare
research
- To bring people together to establish new contacts and
for exchange of views and information on primate issues
The 2010 will focus on:
- welfare assessment
- natural history and captive care
- future directions in primate research
Please see the draft programme.
The meeting is free to attend and open to laboratory
personnel working directly with non-human primates.
Registration is essential; the registration deadline is 13
October 2010.
