The NC3Rs, in partnership with the Biosciences Federation
Animal Sciences Group, is hosting a one-day symposium on
'The 3Rs: from fundamentals to application' to
highlight the scientific and technological advances which have
implications for the 3Rs and how they can facilitate
improved scientific data and better animal welfare.
The symposium is free to all members of learned societies
and professional bodies affiliated to the Biosciences
Federation. Speakers, many of whom are prominent members of the
bioscience community, will cover a wide range of topics from
pain management to the use of lower organisms as model systems.

The symposium is sponsored by the Association of the British
Pharmaceutical Industry.
The closing date for registration was 25
Feburary 2008 and registration is now
closed.
Delegates already registered will be informed of the
venue by email two weeks before the date of the meeting.
