CRACK IT

CRACK IT is a new open innovation programme from the NC3Rs which will link and fund scientists from universities and industry in the challenge of the 3Rs.

CRACK IT has it's own dedicated website where you can find more information about the scheme and get involved: www.crackit.org.uk.

There are three main parts to CRACK IT:

CRACK a Challenge

Could you help solve a 3Rs challenge facing the bioscience industry? Access funding from the NC3Rs and other contributions such as data, compounds and equipment through the CRACK IT research competition. The first set of CRACK IT competitions are now open for applications.

Pose a Challenge

Does your research or business face a challenge which involves the use of animals? Seek new partners and resources, and engage the global brain in providing a solution to your challenge.

Share a Solution

Do you have a bright idea or new technology that could replace, reduce or refine the use of animals? Find a partner to help you turn the idea into reality, validate the technology or simply promote to a wider audience.
