Day 1 (pm only) - Anaesthesia/Euthanasia: What do we know and what do we need to know? (FULLY BOOKED)
The aim of this half-day workshop is to bring together key stakeholders to discuss current practice and the latest relevant research on the appropriate use of anaesthesia in zebrafish and other fish species. The goal of the workshop is to produce a consensus report providing guidance for the implementation of best practice and a pathway for future research.
Day 2 and Day 3 - Current practice and recent developments in laboratory fish monitoring, housing and care
The aim of the workshop is to review current practices in the monitoring of fish and their housing and care. Break-out group discussions will explore how refinements can be put into practice, what knowledge gaps remain in the field and how these can be addressed.
