The British Pharmacological Society's flagship annual meeting attracts over 1,000 scientists each year, mostly from the UK but also many from across Europe and from overseas. This year's event will take place at Queen Elizabeth II Centre, London, UK.

Dr Sam Jackson, NC3Rs Programme Manager for disease models, efficacy and safety pharmacology, is co-chairing a session on Organ On Chip technology on day 1, Track5, at 10am.

Robust and accurate models are critical to the success of drug discovery and development. This session will focus on tools which improve disease modelling and safety pharmacology, as well as reducing the use of animal testing.

Further information including details of other speakers, how to register and a full event programme are available on the British Pharmacology Society website.
