The NC3Rs and University of Manchester will be hosting a workshop on "Improving the quality of research applications involving animals".  The workshop will cover:

• Why funders are paying more attention to experimental design and justification of animal numbers in grant applications.
• How to make sure your applications meet funders’ expectations.
• How to estimate and justify appropriate animal numbers, including breeding of rodents.
• Other questions relevant for both grants and the new PPL form.

Please note that this workshop is only open to researchers based at the University of Manchester.
