Moving to the use of animal-free antibodies

An overview of the scientific and welfare benefits of moving to the use of animal-free antibodies and affinity reagents, highlighting the 2020 Recommendation on Non-Animal-Derived Antibodies from the EU Reference Laboratory for alternatives to animal testing (EURL ECVAM) [1].

Delivered by Dr Alison Gray, School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Nottingham and Afability. Dr Gray is an ad-hoc member of the EURL ECVAM Scientific Advisory Committee whose report informed the ECVAM recommendations.
