  • Other
Wednesday 14 February 2018 to Friday 16 February 2018
Hanover, Germany

This conference will focus on the connections between the quality of preclinical research and the ethics of early clinical trials. It will seek to deliver clear evidence of the robustness and positive predictive value of pre-clinical research, to protect the welfare of research participants, and to develop more effective informed consent processes.

Talks and discussions will cover the causes of current problems in preclinical research and the challenges of translational neuroscience. There will also be panels on the role of universities, funders and regulatory bodies in implementing best practices for improving translational neurosciences.
